The Single Crochet (SC) and Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS) Crochet patterns are delivered in a pdf format that includes:
**Full size graph which prints out in 4-16 pages depending on size
**Graph scaled down to print on one page
**Black and white row by row color counts
**Video links for helpful tips when doing graph projects
So, whether you prefer to work from a graph or hate the counting and like it written out, this pattern has both.
SC graph projects are worked back and forth, and you flip your project after each row – TSS graph projects are not flipped and are worked from right to left from the graph so please make sure you use the corresponding word chart for the stitch you choose.  They will be clearly labeled for you.  If you choose to use the written row by row color counts for either SC or TSS, you will read each row left to right, just as you would read a book.  There is no need to read certain rows backwards

**The pattern testers are permitted to use the colors of their choice.  Website photos will not always show the same colors as listed in pattern for this reason.

If you need assistance with understanding part of the pattern, please feel free to contact us, we are happy to help!
You may keep, give away or sell any items you make from our patterns, but we do ask that you don't share any of our paid patterns.

Frequently Asked Questions

I didn't get my pattern, what do I do?

Patterns are usually available pretty quickly via direct download. If you can't find please send me a convo or email me at kim@thecrochetcouch.com and I'll send it right over to you.

Will you teach me how to graph?

I get asked this a LOT! I'm sorry, but this is my full time job. I really don't have time to "train the competition" so to speak. All I can say is GOOGLE! There are a lot of resources out there.

Will you do a word chart for a graph I already have?

Another question I get asked a lot. I'm sorry but I'm unable to do this. As stated the word charts take 3-6 hours to complete. I would be unable to sell a word chart for someone else's graph in my shop so if I charged an hourly rate it would make the pattern too expensive.

I want the afghan to be bigger or smaller - what can I do?

There are a couple of ways to vary the size of afghans using C2C. There is standard C2C which uses dc, mini C2C which uses hdc and micro C2C which uses sc. You can also vary your hook size and your yarn weight. If none of these work for you, you can submit a request at https://thecrochetcouch.com/requests - Please submit the request BEFORE you purchase as there is no guarantees that your size request can be done.

I can't do C2C, can this be done in sc?

While all graphs "can" be done in sc or c2c or even tss......size is a big consideration. My gauge for C2C is 8" for 10 rows.....gauge for mini C2C is 6" for 10 rows....gauge for sc and tss is 3" per row.

So a graph that is made for C2C "can" be done in sc but it will be less than half the size stated. You are welcome to submit a request for a c2c to be converted to sc but please realize you will lose a lot of the detail. Please email me at kim@thecrochetcouch.com with request and we'll see what we can do.

I bought a graph from someone else but want you to make it like yours are written. Can you do this?

Although we appreciate that you like our graph/pattern format we absolutely can not do this. No, not even if you pay us :(

We can not work on another designer's graph and then sell it to you. First....you would have to share the pattern with us and that is not permitted by most designers. Second....we couldn't sell that pattern in our shop because it's not ours so it wouldn't be financially viable for us to work on it.
